If desired, we can provide a complete package for publication of your book. This includes cover design; editorial services, and print-ready PDF formatting that will comply with our printer's digital requirements. Authors who wish to provide a cover design are welcome to do so, provided it meets our guidelines. Also, authors are encouraged to submit a well-edited manuscript, which will expedite the publishing process. Our books are printed by Lightning Source and distributed through Ingram, and Baker and Taylor within the United States. Lightning Source distributes them in the United Kingdom. If you would like to submit your manuscript, please send a query letter, biographical information, short synopsis, and the first three chapters to F. W. Boling, Acquisitions Editor, Bighorn Publishing, 35 La Canada Way, Hot Springs Village, AR 71909. If you want your materials returned, please include a self-addressed stamped envelope of sufficient size with the appropriate postage attached. Do not send us your entire manuscript before we respond to your query. Your query letter and synopsis should be single-spaced. Sample chapters are to be double-spaced. If your submission is suitable for our list, we will contact you and request the entire manuscript. We emphasize Western fiction and nonfiction. Please do not submit handwritten material. Manuscripts must be typewritten or letter-quality computer generated. The manuscript should be on 8.5" x 11" white paper, double-spaced, with at least 1" margins and left margin justified. Please use only one side of the page, number your pages consecutively, and put the title of your novel at the top of each page. Very important: Please type your name, mail and e-mail addresses and phone number on the first page of your manuscript. Also, please state the total number of words in your manuscript.
